"A BEE THAT HAS LOST ITS STINGER"
Audio

We are celebrating Easter Sunday, or as we call it here at ODCM, Resurrection Sunday. It’s not about Easter bonnets, parades, bunnies, or egg hunts, but about Jesus Christ resurrecting from death as He said He would. As the scriptures share, Jesus in his human form was crucified on Friday, placed in a borrowed tomb, and on Sunday—this day—He got
up in power.

Death could not hold Him down. Jesus rose in victory. Now, as a glorified and immortal being, death was defeated as was the penalty of sin. It was like a bee that had lost its stinger.
