INSPIRED SCRIPTURES
The scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are the inspired and
infallible revelation of God. However, man voluntarily transgressed and
fell, thereby of his own nature (offspring of Adam), inclined to continually
do evil.

ORIGINAL SIN
Man was created good, upright and in the image of God. However, man
voluntarily transgressed and fell. Thereby, of his own nature (offspring of
Adam), is inclined to do evil continually.
Genesis 1:26-27, 2:17, 3:16; Romans 5:12-19; 1 Corinthians 15:22
RESURRECTION OF CHRIST
The resurrection is the belief that Christ did, in fact, rise from the grave
on the third day after His crucifixion. He now sits on the Right Hand of God,
the Father, until His Second Coming.
1 Corinthians 15:3-4; 1 Corinthians 15:14
SACRAMENTS (Ordinances)
There are two recognized kinds of sacrament:
1) Baptism in water, and
2) The Lord’s Supper.
Mark 16:16; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26
SALVATION
In its basic sense, salvation means the saving of a life from harm and/or death. Scripture in the New Testament readings states that salvation is
the deliverance from the penalty and power of sin.
For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only son, that
whosoever believes in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16
If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord', and believe in your heart
that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
Romans 10:9
Simply put, when we give our lives to God, He snatches us from death
for eternity! Amen.
SIN AFTER JUSTIFICATION
This is the belief that after one has received the Holy Ghost, he/she will sin.
However, not every sin is purposely committed against the Holy Ghost.
Moreover, it is by the grace of God that we can be restored again and
amend our lives.
Romans 8:1; Galatians 6:1
SUFFICIENCY OF THE HOLY SCRIPTURES FOR SALVATION
The scriptures, both Old and New Testament, are the inspired and
infallible revelation of God to man and the authority of faith and conduct:
the Bible is the revealed Will of God, and the all-sufficient rule of faith
and standard for daily living.
2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21
WORD
The Son, who is also known as the Word of the Father, took on man’s
nature while in the womb of a Blessed Virgin. He is of one substance
with the Father. Thereby, the God-head and humanhood were joined
together as one flesh, never to be divided.
John 1:1; John 1:14-15; John 10:30; John 14:9
