God used Paul and Barnabas to convert many non-Jews in Syria. Certain people from Judea began teaching that if babies were not circumcised, they could not be saved. And if they were not saved, their hearts would be impure. Nasty and dirty.

The heart is the seat of life. It is of the mind, soul, and spirit. It is of one’s entire emotional nature and understanding; and not having to do with any other part of the body.
