Paul says that all Christians, believers, followers of The Way, need to give up all physical enjoyment and rely upon the wisdom of an elite few. Paul makes it known that Christ is sufficient and supreme for our salvation.

Being a Christian, our conduct and behavior should be manifested in all ways of life. No matter whatever kind of Christian we profess to be, we are to work heartily for the Lord. Our service is to Him and to Him alone; not for human masters, not for want-to-be-kings. We do not work for men. We are to work for God.
