Faith is Christlikeness. The Lord God says there is no shortcut through the waters. God will be with you and the waters shall not overwhelm you. Fires should not burn or consume you.

When God redeems us, He keeps His word. He covers real evidence of us walking in faith. The crosswalk of the Cross is far away, and the path is narrow. Few get through. But many prefer jaywalking. Jaywalkers are entangled in the things of this world. Their path is wide, and the way is easy. But it is not beneficial to reaching heaven. That takes faith.
