Psalm 133:1
Working Together, #2
I know (and you know), we serve an on-time God. Not our will, but His will be done. If ebony and ivory can get along, we too as people of God, do likewise. The problem in America, the church, your circle, your fellowship, our communities, is that we’re not all praying to God. But, 2 Chronicles says, “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek God's face, and turn from their wicked ways, then God will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.”
The content of Psalm 133 has a focus about unity and joy. It’s a 'going up yonder' experience. Let's make it personal. Remember your prom and graduation? Oh what a time! Remember your family reunion, first job, first car, first love? Oh what a time! Remember God’s healing power? Oh what a time! We realize that things may look bad and the world appears to be spinning out of orbit, but when Jesus comes to take you with Him, there’ll be no more pain, sickness, corruption. No more political games, no more cantankerous people, bigotry, and hate…Oh, what a time!
