Description

Saying grace is the practice of thanking God for your meal. It is believed that this prayer follows the examples that Jesus and Paul set before having a meal. Matthew 14:15-21 gives an example of Jesus feeding the multitudes with a small amount of food. Before He began the meal, He broke the bread and gave thanks to God. Grace is the ecclesiastical act of thanks. It multiplies and sanctifies the meal. Bread of heaven, feed me ’til I want no more.
