A father with sound advice is a family man, a God-fearing man, a hardworking man, an honest man, a provider who could give and take advice.

Godliness, the genuine love and fear of God, is a theme referred to throughout 1^st Timothy and used nine times in this letter. Not to be controlled in your circumstance, Paul says, is great gain. It is great gain when you are not wanting more and more. You cannot have godliness without contentment.
