Jesus is not the sword, but the one who possesses it.  The Word of God is the sword and there is none so piercing for cutting the heart or killing sin within it. With double edges, the sword of the spirit is Christ’s weapon of choice for His people. From His tongue, it is sharp, quick, and powerful, it is that which God has said. What makes your blade dull or blunt? And is your blade ready to cut or does it need renewing?
