In this story, due to storm clouds rising in his life, David prayed to God. He put his trust and hope in the Lord. David demonstrated that you must faithfully, and continuously have a lifestyle of prayer, praise, and worship. There will come a time in your life when your soul and spirit will cry out; and you can’t wait until the last minute to pray. David prayed to God always, but especially for God to show him His ways, to teach him His paths, and to guide him in His truths.

God can lead you to victory, but He cannot force you to dwell in it. In other words, If you are going to continue to do what you want to do and ignore His positive advice or instruction; then you need to stop asking God to help you!
